What being at MODCo means to artists

What we ask of you

Exclusivity

Regardless of artist type, anything you post here and receive full payment for (ie not Remix payment) is deemed to be exclusive to Mod Collective and is not to be uploaded elsewhere.  Studio Artists (non-exclusive) artists are free to upload different content at other sites, and can even share it with us for a Remix fee.

Quality

We're a site focusing on premium quality, and that's why we hand-pick our artists for limited spots.  That said, we're not as strict about polygon counts and screenshots in the way other sites might be.  For guidance, please visit our Content section.

Quantity

As a Studio Artist, you'll only make what you want to put into it, so if you choose to contribute only occasionally, that's fine!  You could find your MODlvl score reset back to zero if there has been no activity or contact whatsoever for a course of 90 days or more, and if we run short of the creation type you were making for us, we might have to replace you with someone else ultimately.  However, if we still have a vacancy for your creation speciality, you can come back at any time to rebuild your score.

Staff Artists are a little different.  You're contracted by us as full time staff, so notionally that's 40 hours per week.  However, we're not strict on time.  As long as work is done, we'll be thrilled.  If your work entails services for ModCo, such as customer support, we don't expect 40 hours of meshing on top.  Basically, whether you do 40 hours of meshing, 40 hours of ModCo work or something in between, you're doing all we ask.

Mature content

We're not a PG13 site so mature content is indeed permitted. Mild curse words/swearing is permitted on content.  However, for anything particularly graphic, we will be opening a special X-MOD site just for this.  Participation is entirely voluntary.

House rules

We ask everyone to accord with our House Rules.  We're a lovely bunch, but we won't tolerate behavior that falls short of these rules.
